Honor, a smartphone brand owned by Huawei, is soon going to launch two new smartphones namely, Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro. The brand will become a big shot in the smartphone market by releasing pop-up camera phones at reasonable prices.
“Remember when I said pop up camera might be a feature in budget phones,” said Honor’s Public Relations Manager on Twitter. These would be the brand’s first smartphones with a pop-up front-facing camera.
The notch-less display, HiSilicon Kirin 810 SoC, GPU Turbo 3.0, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 4,000 mAh battery are the key features of these upcoming phones. The exclusive 16-megapixel pop-up selfie camera will surely attract users who love widescreen mobile phones.
You may expect the price of the phone at around Rs 14,000 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The price would be around Rs. 16,000 for 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. For 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, the cost will be increased to Rs 19,000. It is speculated that the colour variety would be three, namely, midnight blue, midnight black, and red.
The android version in Honor 9X will be Android Pie based on EMUI 9.1.1. The size of the display is around 6.59-inch H.D (1080 X 2340 pixels) with 391ppi pixel density. It will be powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 810 octa-processor, paired with up to 6GB RAM. The inbuilt storage of the phone is 64GB and 128GB. It will come with a microSD card with 512GB memory.
There will be a side-mounted fingerprinted sensor onboard. The phone measures 163X77.2X8.8mm and weighs 206 grams. Honor 9X supports dual camera setup with a 48-megapixel lens of f/108 aperture. There is another 2-megapixel depth sensor. An exclusive 16-megapixel selfie lens with an f/2.2 aperture also an elite feature of the phone.
Honor 9X Pro packs a triple rear camera setup in it. The first two sensors resemble Honor 9X. Apart from them, there will be an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens. The inbuilt storage will be 256 GB with 8GB RAM and offer an option to expand the storage using its exclusive SD card.
Experts at GoEasyRepair, a mobile screen repair service provider in Delhi NCR, predicts that features like display size, pop-up camera, and storage capacity will head the brand towards a howling success. You can expect these phones to be out at the end of August.
